Damon Winter/The New York Times President-Elect Barack Obama held his first press conference on November 7, 2008. Obama commented on the Nations' current economic crisis as well as, potential cabinet members. The President-Elect emphasized the necessity of getting a stimulus package approved either before or soon after his inauguration. Obama also made it known that he intends to choose his cabinet wisely instead of making executive decisions in haste.
